We’re looking for a Assistant Dairy Processing Manager & Pack Team Member to join our dedicated farm team in Albion, Maine.

This year-round role (30–35 hrs/week) includes dairy bottling, egg packing, stocking our farm stand, and helping keep our milkroom clean and organized.

At Misty Brook Farm, we value:
• Honest work
• Collaborative teamwork
• Passion for good food
• Constant improvement

You’ll be part of a caring team working to provide clean, healthy grass-fed raw dairy to Maine families — plus enjoy our weekly farm lunch and team meeting every Wednesday.

$18–$20/hr depending on experience

Just in time for Sheep Shearing Day — the first Just in time for Sheep Shearing Day — the first calves of spring arrived on the farm to meet all the visitors! 🐄🌱Two bull calves and one heifer calf.

Sheep Shearing Day is almost here! We hope you joi Sheep Shearing Day is almost here! We hope you join us on the farm this Sunday, March 8 @ 11am as Jeff Burchstead from @buckwheatblossomfarm shears the sheep at Misty Brook Farm! 

Parking will be available along Bog Road by the farm store and across the street. 

We will have Hot Cocoa & Baked Goods by donation, plus complimentary samples of Misty Brook Farm sliced cured meats. 

We can’t wait to see you at 156 Bog Rd., Albion, Maine.

Sheep Shearing Day is less than one week away! 🐑✂️

Join us Sunday, March 8 at 11am for our Annual Sheep Shearing Day at Misty Brook Farm. Professional shearer Jeff Burchstead of @buckwheatblossomfarm will be on site to help us prepare our sheep for lambing season. Jeff arrives at 11am to set up, and shearing begins when it begins—so come early if you don’t want to miss the action.

This year,  sheep from both Misty Brook Farm and Golden Fleece will be shorn. @golden.fleece.becca is a small flock that lives alongside our own and is operated by Becca, a member of the Misty Brook Farm team. The two flocks are raised together here on the farm, and Becca will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and talk sheep with visitors.

This is a free, family-friendly event, and a wonderful chance to see an important part of farm life up close. More details to come later this week—we can’t wait to see you at the farm!
